Trials and welcome offers — what you get for free
Business gets a 30-day full-product trial with no card needed. Practices get a 90-day welcome offer where the first organisation is free. Here's how each works and what happens at expiry.
Every new account starts free. The shape of "free" depends on which plan family you sign up under.
Business — 30-day full-product trial
No card is needed to start. You get the entire product for 30 days, including journal posting back to your accounting platform. We send reminders at 7 days and 1 day before the trial ends. Add a card at any point to convert seamlessly; if no card is on file at expiry, the account moves to a read-only state until you add one.
Practice — 90-day welcome offer (first organisation free)
Practices get longer because onboarding clients takes time. The first client organisation you connect is free for 90 days from the date of that connection. After that, billing kicks in for any client orgs still connected, and the graduated tier starts to apply.
What happens at trial expiry
- Card on file: the first paid invoice is generated automatically and the product continues without interruption.
- No card on file: the account moves to read-only. Existing data is retained; new calculations and journal posting are paused until billing is set up.
