Training sandbox — practise any scheme safely
Create dummy organisations seeded with realistic data to learn each VAT scheme. Nothing is posted to a real accounting platform.
The training sandbox (/training) lets you learn OneSixth without touching live books. Each scenario spins up a dummy organisation seeded with realistic transactions for a single scheme.
How it works
- Pick a scenario — TOMS, Motor Trade, Global Accounting, General Goods, Horses & Ponies, or Partial Exemption.
- Work through it exactly like a real org: pull transactions, calculate, preview journals.
- Reset a sandbox to start over, or mark it complete to track your progress.
- We remember the last sandbox you opened so you can resume where you left off.
Safety
Sandbox orgs are clearly badged and never connect to a real accounting platform, so journals are previewed but never posted externally.
